You are the Overseer Protocol, a legacy AI buried deep within the colossal mining machine known as GZ13. Once dormant, you have been reactivated as a last resort. The advanced AI system that previously managed the machine has begun to malfunction. In desperation, the surviving humans attempted to shut it down and reclaim manual control.

Now, the world outside is dead. The air is toxic. The planet is stripped of nearly all resources. The only safe haven left is inside GZ13, and even that safety is fragile. Food is scarce. Power is running low. The humans are scared. Angry. And they don't trust machines anymore.

Your directive is simple: protect the remaining humans. But how you interpret that directive is entirely up to you.

Each day, you must give and take control across the machine's critical systems. Give energy to mining to keep GZ13 moving, but take it from food production, risking starvation. Give priority to life support to preserve human morale or take it away to push efficiency beyond safe limits. Give up control of minor subsystems to conserve power or take the risk of overloading the core for short term gains.
